Congratulations to Antihiro for being the FTF!

It's that time of year again. Time to hide another cache. This is in a small park along the river at the end of Ferry Rd. Part of the park is an off leash park, so bring the dog along. The cache is winter friendly and fairly easy to find. I hope you like the cache container. Happy Holidays!

Gyar, it be seemin' that I be followin' Ztirnats to all the caches around these parts. At least when I be on this side of the river, every cache I be findin' has already been plundered by Ztirnats! Well, at least I be havin' an easy time trekkin' through the drifts, what with the trail that scallywag be leavin', instead of makin' me own paths through the snow.

GYAR! But that be a LILLY-LIVERED way of doin' things! I plowed me way through the snowdrifts to plunder the cache meself anyway! From me last booty, the 'Above the Plane' cache, I took the PIRATE way, and made a straight, bee-line path for this treasure! Nary did I take the easy way out like some other bilge-rats, but made me OWN path! GYAR HAR HAR HAR HAR HAR! At least I be makin' a more direct path for those after me to follow.

I be not sure if I've ventured to this here park in the past though. Alas, me memories be a bit hazy at best, and the acursed snow be coverin' up the terrain. At the bare minimum, I sailed rode me bike near these parts in search of similar treasures in previous years. But I be digressin'. I worked me way across the snow and eventually found meself at ground zero. Lookin' around, it be silent, and I be alone. That be soundin' like the perfect time to hunt for some treasure! Last thing I needs is to keelhaul any bilge-rats that be seein' me. Although, one possible spot that caught me eye on the way to the coordinates be lookin' pretty suspicious. However, the lack of other paths to it be tellin' me I should keep me bearing straight and true.

In a matter of seconds, I be havin' the cache in me hands! As I got there, me eyes skimmed quickly over the area before lockin' onto the right spot. At this point, I be finally understandin' what be with the cache name! Well, at least moreso... since the name be makin' sense one way or the other... container like this or no. I be hopin' it holds up into the comin' spring... I imagine it be seein' a lot of dampness a few months from now.

Nonetheless, after crackin' open me treasure, I gazed upon the bounty! Gyar, me matey... thar be gold in them thar cache! Avast, damn the new pirate code! All this about tradin' stuff instead of pillagin' what ye can... it be MADNESS! But keepin' to the pirate code, I couldn't see anythin' worth switchin' for. Me own treasures be stayin' with me, and these here treasures be stayin' here. Although like all pirates, I be leavin' me callin' card. Both me signature and me trusty chainmail ball be sittin' in this here cache.

That's right, I be havin' chainmail! And ye best be considerin' it yourselves, if ye want to last through the night. All ye other pirates just don't last a battle or two without some steel between yerself and the other guy. And I don't just be talkin' about your trusty blade, neither! Learn from me, ye scurvy knaves, and ye'll last longer than the rest. It be the only way to survive the likes of us!

Arrr, vicious though we may seem, I be not the ungrateful type. I thank ye for the cachin' opportunity, and chance to get me land legs back before takin' to the seas again. It be grand!

Took: Gyar... nothin' (damn ye pirate code!)
Left: Me name and me chainmail. Learn well, scurvy one!
