[Decided to tackle this cache since the snow is mostly gone. It turns out I was correct Smile.

And this was one of the times I was able to get my mom to come geocaching with me. She was heading out to Costco, and I wasn't working today... so I tagged along to keep her company. It took a bit of convincing during the drive, but I eventually got her to crawl through the underbrush and long grass and branchy areas to go after the cache. But she enjoyed it. As many 'oh, my goodness' and other related expressions she tossed out while scrambling through the bushes, I could definitely tell that she was enjoying herself Wink.

In either case... this was possibly one of the more perfect times to go after this cache. Not only was the snow almost 100% gone, BUT it was still cold enough that the little puddles on the ground were still nice slabs of ice that didn't simply shatter under our feet. Well... unless you looked at any deeper spots, but we easily found a route around any really wet spots. Probably good too, since my mom wasn't exactly equipped at the time for off-road hiking ToungeOut.

But... several minutes of zig-zagging around pools of water and uber-dense patches of trees, and we had a cache location. Mom is still amazed at how easily I spot them (well... as compared to her, I guess. I still consider myself a newb at finding/geocaching in general ToungeOut). Much fun, much fun. However, we were both laughing when we realized that] just slightly north of the cache was a large, easily-traversable path [ToungeOut.

However, my mom wanted the Kinder Surprise toy to give to our niece (who's also a fan of geocaching... so we could tell her it came from a geocache), but we were lacking in swag at the moment other than chainmail balls. Hence... I left one of those as per usual, and (provided I remember... I honestly will try, though) I plan to leave swag in your remaining unfound geocache (Clandeboye Blitz) when I find it Smile.

Took: Kinder Surprise toy
Left: Logbook entry, chainmail ball, and promise to leave swag in another cache of yours due to circumstances at the time of finding this cache.
