This is our second cache, and we've placed in a park that we frequenty take our dog for walks. The cache is in a 500 ml or 2 and 1/2 cup - sized, well camo'd container. Included is a certificate and Tim Horton $ for the FTF, as well as a flashlight, 2AA batteries, slinky, glitter pens, 2 screwdrivers and other small trinkets. We hope you enjoy the park!

Had an uncanny urge to go for some caches after work today. Deciding to try wandering into areas of town I've never cached in before, I headed north. Not wanting to spend an eternity outside in the cold, I figured I'd go after ones that specifically say winter accessible, to decrease the chance of having to dig in a million places.

And lo, we have this cache. It indeed said 'winter accessible', but the name of it was making me think that some digging may be required regardless. However, I've noticed that usually when the aformentioned type of cache is winter accessible, there's not too many places it could be, making it (usually) a relatively easy hunt.

Hence... off I went. A few wanderings down various streets, and I found parking on Harbison avenue. A quick walk afterwards, I was at the vicinity. Nice park here though. Nice and open, and nicely secluded from the traffic just beside it. If it wasn't 11kms north of where I live, I'd probably consider going back there .

But... that's besides the point. Seeing several different options, I went with the 'most likely' one. Indeed, I was accurate in my thoughts. A little bit of digging, and I knew that I had uncovered a cache. HOORAY!

Wandered over to that cement structure to sort it out, see if any TB's are in it, etc, etc (I didn't have any information on if there were supposed to be any in here offhand). No TB's, and unfortunately the lid was too small to put in most of the ones that I'm trying to find a cache for.

However, this cache now contains a non-official TB of sorts... a postcard (albeit kinda rolled up, but it appears to have gone through that in the past) headed off towards Toronto if I'm not mistaken (or East anyway... that much I remember). Hopefully the fact that this is a winter-accessible and recently-found cache will get this postcard moving a little bit further. It was kinda stuck in my cache for over a month, so I hope it has better luck here .
