An easy walk up cache. Busy car corner but not a lot of foot traffic. Because of it's size and proximity to famous landmark lets make all trade items some type of coin. Preferably from foreign countries. We will start the cache with coins from the US, Japan, Europe and Canada. Also included is a FTF certificate and log book. BRING YOUR OWN WRITING STICK.

Ok, I'm pumping with adrenaline, and I've got the deity of DNF resolution watching my back like a hawk. What does one do in this situation? Why, tackle previous DNF's of course. Hence... this cache became Dinifra #2 (DNF resolution attempt, or DNFRA, hence Dinifra)! Random note: I now conclude that I will use this word whenever referencing a previous DNF I'm attempting to resolve... as it is shorter, and will likely confuse people reading my logs... which will amuse me ToungeOut.

Anyhoo... Dinifra #2 was under way. I had just left work and finished tackling the "Need a perk" cache a few miles North. Headed straight south from there to this one, hoping the aformentioned deity wouldn't abandon me.

Upon stopping in the parking lot, I decided to grab me a few donuts, just to at least attempt to look like I had a purpose for stopping there. After which I took said donuts and wandered over to the public benches and looked around. Noone nearby. Excellent. Munching on a donut (mmmm... jellybusters), I set to work searching. Thanks to a slight tip from BBrown94, I corrected where I was looking this time (as opposed to last time, where I was way off).

I've got to say... maybe it's just this time of year, but it was REALLY painful to search for the cache right now. Keeping in mind that a) it's bleeding cold, and b) I had forgotten my gloves at home today. In either case... when one is on a roll and pumped with Dinifra-based adrenaline, one does what one must. Bite your lip, suck it up, and give 'er hell anyway.

However, after about 10 minutes of giving hell to 'er, I spotted that which must be spotted. It turns out no hell needed to be given, and the dozens upon dozens of red speckles on my hand were unnecessary (see attached pic. Trust me, they look a lot redder in person ToungeOut).

BUT... the mission was successful, and a second positive Dinifra had been obtained. 2 for 2 so far BigSmile. Could I dare attempt a third?

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball

Attempted this one since I was still on a geocaching rush from the previous 8 of the day. Unfortunately, wasn't able to find a thing. Must have been hidden in a more creative area than I was looking Frown. That, or my GPS was being weird with the coordinates again. They pointed me pretty much right on top of that flowerbed thing, so I poked and prodded around all of the rocks, the benches nearby, the rocks near them, the plants, and did a quick scan of the side of that brick wall type other side of the flowerbed. Unfortunately, came up empty-handed. Will have to tackle this one another day :{
