Decided to attempt this one after taking on the nearby Triangulation. It's an interesting area... it was relatively close... sounds like a plan. And when nearing the caching area, I basically just dove right in.
And that's completely literally. That area's damn near dense enough to swim in! The cool part is that there's very distinct openings and paths. Sweet DAMN but this would have made an awesome fort as a kid. Why didn't we have THIS type of foliage back where I grew up? I coulda spent hours playing around in there.
And I just about did . I can't even count the number of times I slunk back and forth, looking high, low, middle, anywhere I could possibly fathom. There wasn't much traffic or people parked nearby, so it was nice and private. Then again... with the density of the area, I don't think it would have made a difference (unless they heard shuffling from me moving). If a car went by though, I basically stopped moving and slurped into a nice dark corner. And by that, I mean 'anywhere' .
I must have spent about 20 minutes in there (ehehehehe... fun fort) before eventually stumbling upon the cache. It was one of those situations where you think you've looked EVERYWHERE, and then BAM, suddenly there it is... and you wonder how you possibly missed it. I honestly think that I must have either touched it, brushed against it, or even physically shoved it while searching for those 20 minutes. I gotta say... that was a REALLY awesome hide and cache location. Many thanks for bringing me into there (ehehehehehehe... fort ).
