YES! To celebrate the finding of my 100th... find... I decided to finally tackle the Conquista Del Mundo - African Continent finale... and it was a success ! Albeit I didn't have Egypt to get the number from, I was able to work around it. Since it was the only number I was missing, I basically just plotted the furthest possible points the cache could be at, and planned to walk the line it showed. However, once I got nearby, it didn't exactly take a genius to figure out where it was. Then again, I guess I got kinda lucky with which number I was missing. It could have been a loooot messier if I hadn't been able to find... say... Congo or Madagascar.
Nonetheless... my excitement was quite high when I got to the area. I'm fairly certain that I was SO determined to find this thing, that even if it was a micro in the middle of a field of thorny bushes, I would have tromped around for like... 3 hours to find it . As it turns out, the Thorny-To-NotThorny ratio was swung drastically towards the latter... and it was quite the painless cache to find. Well... aside from the cold wind that decided to blast against me midway through signing the log. Ahh, Mother Nature... why do you hate me so?
But... triumphant I return to geocaching.com, to make the 100th find official. THANKS FOR THE 100TH FIND SKAVEN!!!
Took: Nothing, except the satisfaction of finally hitting 100
Left: Fairly long logbook entry describing in short the above paragraphs (don't worry, it was only one side of one page of the logbook ) and chainmail ball
