Truro Park is a pretty city park along a creek. The cache is hidden in a stone retaining wall across from a large unhealthy tree by the creek. It is rehidden in tier 2.

Cache is a small camoed container /logbook/pencil a couple of goodies and a FTF BLITZ Certificate. Area needs CITO. This is a kid-friendly location but if you're an adult stick to searching mornings during school time or bring a camera as a decoy.

"This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official BLITZ cache for the May Madness event. Hope you enjoy the hunt!"

Ok, this was a kinda cool little stream with all kinds of trees all over the place. Man... wish I woulda lived close to here at any time... I can see me having a mess of fun around here.

Took me a minute to find an easy way across the stream thing. At first, I took a step onto the ice, wondering if it would hold (pfft, yeah, right... I was expecting to hear creaking when I put any weight on it), but then I looked to my right and saw that hey... there's a drop-off over there, and a very easy to step across land section.

So... I took the easy land area. The idea of going through work with a shoer didn't exactly fill me with overwhelming joy and happiness ToungeOut.

Nonetheless... relatively quick find after I climbed up the slippery, slippery other side (*shakes fist at mother nature and old man winter alike*). Ahh, still enough room inside for a chainmail ball Smile. But yeah... nice hiding spot. I can see it lasting for a long time here without being stolen or anything... looks pretty well natural how it's hidden Smile.

Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
