Those who haven't read the comic strip but have played Castlevania will immediately look at this and go "Simon Belmont!". Not in the comic though. In the comic, he is Crocomire Hunter, who is essentially a play-off of Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter.
Crocomire Hunter, much like Steve Irwin, is most well known for exclaiming "Crikey!" and talking in a pseudo-australian accent. The accent however, is mainly just going by how Steve Irwin talks (see the movie Collision Course).
