HOORAY! At long last... the unthinkable has occured. Perhaps hell froze over. Perhaps pigs have grown wings and taken flight. Perhaps what has just occured has given an angel it's wings.
Kabuthunk actually remembered AND attended an MBGA event! IT'S A MIRACLE (*hallelujah*)
But yes... it wasn't too hard to bushwhack a path to THIS event. Let's see...

*looks at event coordinates*
*sees that they are 0.15km apart from eachother*
Yep... loooooong travel-time to get to this one. Had to fill up the gas tank in Brunkild, and needed to take an extra U-turn or two in Emerson, but I eventually found my way there.
Glad to have met a lot more people than at the MBGA meeting that I had attended a while back. Specifically glad to have met BBrown94, since we've helped eachother out of confusing spots on various caches. As well, it's nice to once again see everyone from the meeting there as well. Definitely good that I at least recognized you guys, otherwise I would have been hiding off on my own for the most part (I tend to be kinda brutally shy around people I don't know). Added thanks to Dani for introducing me to everyone, because I can guarantee that I wouldn't have done that on my own .
Nonetheless... got to see a whole whack of awesome coins (man, never thought I'd ever even physically SEE a Moun10Bike coin), hear a ton of interesting stories, and have a nice evening in general.
Thus brought me to the long trek back home. Aye, twas a cruel, vicious journey. Had to fight off a polar bear AND a grizzly bear at the same time, using nothing but a handfull of twigs, my flashlight, and a discarded shoe I had found from a previous explorer. Luckly, there was a freak hailstorm which allowed me to escape. Had to shield my GPS with my skull to avoid damage, but it came out in one piece. Well... at least the GPS did .
Regardless, this definitely made for a nice start to the week. Extremely glad to have met you all, and I hope to do this again. Hopefully, the next gathering will be easy for me to get to .

Hooray! Looks like I actually remembered this time. Unless some violently horrendous occurance stops me from leaving my apartment in approximately 2 hours, I'll be there.
Also, dropping a recently acquired TB into the event. My personal tracking bug can just be discovered while there though :P

Ok, seriously... THIS time I will attempt to make it. I will write this on the white-board on my apartment door, and make notes everywhere. THIS time, I will make every effort to not forget.
With ANY luck whatsoever... and probably not even needing luck... I will show up.
I vow to definitely make my best effort to get to THIS one
EDIT: I actually hope that the gathering remains at the coordinates posted for it as of this moment... because that's like... 2 or 3 blocks away from where I live at most .
EDIT #2: Correction... upon looking at google satellite view... it's approximately a 45 second walk from where I live. That big, green building across the street? Yeah, that's me. Odds are it shouldn't be too far for me to travel .
