Decided to go on a bike ride today, and during the pondering of where to bike... this cache looked ripe for the picking. Not only is it new, but it's also close to a few other caches that I had yet to gather in the vicinity. Hence... it was decided.
So a short bike ride later (aka: about 7 km's), I arrive at the location JUST as a truck appears to be stopping at the nearest corner. Now, I'm thinking to myself "there doesn't appear to be ANY other reason to stop at that corner", and thusly concluded that it had to be another geocacher. A few moments later, this was confirmed, and I had a short chat with Bevro while hunting down the geocache.
Bevro spotted it first and pulled it from it's hiding spot. After a chainmail ball is lobbed in, we both poked around inside to see if there's anything we particularily wanted to trade swag for. Not seeing anything offhand... we put everything back and slid it back into place. However, I had spotted in the cache a 'Support Our Troops' geocoin, and had decided to trade it for a CITO geocoin I had been carrying. Bevro however decided to snag the CITO coin and move it along further again. Nice little bike ride to get here though. The first of several today .
Took: "One for the Boys" geocoin
Left: Logbook entry, CITO geocoin (which went directly to Bevro), and chainmail ball
