Small tobacco container. Rehide it well but naturally to keep the teenagers away ?!. Hope you enjoy it. First stage went by by with a bird's nest. |

[Having found the original Glen Meadow cache quite a while ago, I just HAD to venture to the new one to see what had changed. At first, I was a tad worried about the first stage, but thankfully] it was in the same place as the original Glen Meadow. [I was almost sorta disappointed that I didn't have to scour around for the first stage of the cache, actually . I still gotta say... stage one is EXTREMELY well hidden, and I STILL commend you on it's hiding spot .
But... that aside, I found stage one and grabbed the coordinates from it. Plopping them into ye olde GPS (and by ye olde, I mean 'only owned for a year, was designed not too long prior), I noticed immediately that the path to follow was going nowhere close the the original coordinates. I rather figured you had done more than just move it about 20 feet or something, but was still somewhat surprised at the direction it was leading me.
Wandering towards the coordinates, several people out for a walk decided to interrupt my caching. Taking a quick break to "tie my shoes" and re-adjust my toque, they disappeared from sight (didn't see any GPS in anyone's hand, so I assume they were actually just... y'know... out for a walk ). Going back to my search, I quickly came across the cache container. Nice little place though. Is very well hidden unless you're deliberately looking for it. I can definitely see this one remaining unfound by random bystanders for quite a while. Well... unless they see some cachers going after it... but I think I'm pretty safe on that part. Nary a soul around, nor a voice to be heard. Lotta car engines, but I'm pretty sure they were paying more attention to the road than to random guy way off to the side. Nor do I think they'd care enough to stop their car... ticking off the people behind them no less... pull onto the curb, get out, walk way the hell over to where I had been searching, and go hunting for themselves. Yyyyyeah... the number of people that would actually do something like that pretty well approaches slim to nil .
On the offchance that the ONE freak in the northern hemisphere that will actually disrupt his daily routine, go walking through the cold and drizzle, PURELY to see what someone he doesn't know nor can recognize was doing in a random location at a random time was doing, and THEN succeeds in finding the cache... AND decides not to leave it alone... for that I apologize. Should this happen, I will make every attempt to hunt down said uber-paranoid psycho and escort them personally to a psychiatric hospital .
But I digress. Thanks for the new cache and the nice adventure to end off a fun caching day .
