This cache is contained in a NoNuts PeaButter container with a screw down red top. The "Point" is a 90 acre parcel of land used for agronomy, plant breeding, horticulture, physiology and plant pathology research. Do not enter the point fields to find this cache. Parking can be a daytime problem during weekdays. On weekends and after 4:30 or 5:00pm there is lots around. Parking lot "L" north east corner of campus is probably your best bet (http://umanitoba.ca/maps/parking/). June to September/October be careful of the stinging nettles and posion ivy that are both common along this trail and all across S. Manitoba. |

WOOH! Officially marking a new one-day record at number 7, I claimed this cache shortly after having found the Bison Castle one nearby. Pretty easy to find this fella. Started hunting in slightly the wrong place, but quickly corrected myself. Followed the little path (assumingly dubbed the Pointpath) all the way. Well... not ALL the way. I DO like going off-trail, so I sometimes decided to take a 'straighter' method here and there.
I must say... you find some interesting things while geocaching at the U of M though. Found a person fishing off the edge of the shore. Strange, I don't remember that course being offered when I was there :P Ah well. In either case, got me some cache, and away I went to the next.
Took: Nothing
Left: Logbook entry and chainmail ball
