Sam and Moose were a pair of spirits that I met in my time up in The Pas. I was walking around the forests in general, and was having a lot of spiritual awakening around the time. During one of my walks, this pair of animal bones appeared before me. Now, I'd patrolled the area already, and these bones were most certainly not there before. And so I started talking to them, this was when my clairaudience was really beginning to take off. So anyways, in talking with these two, they told me that they were an inseperable couple, sent off by their mothers to go and help people around the world, and they happened to be sent to me. They stayed with me for a fair while, their bones generally being taken with me wherever I went. Like, they're small enough, so they could easily fit just about anywhere.
And so I talked to them for several months, got to know more about them, became friends. It was basically like having two friends around you. At one point though, one of their mothers called them away, and I was to put them back in the forest. I was sad, and it was a hard decision in away, but like... they weren't specifically 'helping' me, per-se. I liked having them around, but they could do more elsewhere kinda thing.
And so I said goodbye, though I still keep them in my 'occasionally call out to and say hi' list of spirits. I returned the bones to the forest, and left them there to travel off and help another. Farewell my friends, I shall remember you always, and call out to you often.
