AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AT LAST! At long last... the final, only cache remaining on my watchlist (that being where I keep an eye on the caches in a DNF status with me) has now been crossed off of the list. Well... there's technically another one, but it was disabled and removed shortly before I went after it... so that doesn't count .
BUT... yes. And as is normally with me in Carman... I went geocaching with my niece... and also got my fiancee to tag along (although, she stayed in the car while me and my niece were looking ). It was a rather quick find when we got there. Could have been more than about 20 seconds into the look. But then again... given I'd spent a fair amount of time here on the previous two visits, I'd pretty much remembered where all feasable hiding spots would be when I arrived. Hence... it didn't take long to find the correct spot.
My niece spotted some stuff in the cache she wanted to trade for (seeing as she's like... 12 years old), so she had some wooden... figure things. I think it was a wooden star or heart or... something like that. Can't remember entirely. In either case... something made of wood in the cache is from her . In exchange, she wanted the golf ball (I have no clue why... but again, she liked the thought of trading for stuff), and also really wanted MHz's trademark casino chip. Hence... the wooden... thing that I can't remember offhand... and a chainmail ball got traded. Item for item, signature for signature .
That all aside, it was quite a nice hide. I'm quite surprised that it had gone missing previously, looking back through the logs. I guess the groundskeeper has a good eye or some such . But regardless... the cache is still currently cacheable .
Took: MHz signature coin, golf ball
Left: Logbook entry, wooden star (?), and chainmail ball

Took another swing at this cache with my niece and fiancee this time. Were hoping something might jump out at us since it's no longer winter, and we'd be shivering a lot less while looking this time .
Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes of poking, prodding, and checking every conceivable nook and cranny near ground zero, I expanded my search to include several nearby pine trees and some MTS post things near the road, but alas, I found nothing.
I'll keep an eye on this cache, and keep poking around when in Carman however. I don't give up THAT easily .

Was out in Carman for the day, and decided to attempt to quickly tackle some of the caches in the area. Went after this one first, and had with me in tow my niece, and my fiancee's little sister... basically, taking them both out for their first geocaching. Looked pretty thoroughly around the 3 or so trees that the coordinates were closest to, and a quicker look at about another 2 or so trees down... couldn't find a thing . Not wanting to spend too much time if we can't find it (since these are first-time geocachers with me), I decided to leave this one for now.
I'll keep an eye on it, and come back next time I'm in Carman (hopefully after someone else finds it and re-confirms that it's there. It HAS been quite a long time since it's been found).
