This may be a dull cache in comparison to the original placed here. I reflected upon the above "classic" book and the dullest character with the worst name in literature -Pip Pirrip. This cache used to be called "The Spirit of Christmas" to celebrate the joy of a Dickens story that is beloved. Here follows a dull quote from the same author- “My fathers family name being Pirrip, and my christian name Phillip, my infant tongue could make of both names nothing longer or more explicit than Pip. So, I called myself Pip, and came to be called Pip.” (Pg. 3) This is the opening statement of Dickens’s novel and it shows us how simple the young Pip was before his expectations ever began. The Spirit of Christmas will be back in a new location next year for more winter finding fun! |

Ahh... I was wondering where 'Spirit of Xmas' disappeared to. I thought it was disabled or something. My GPS cuts off the cache name after about 8 or so characters, so I didn't see the second half of it .
In either case... I was specifically wanting to migrate out to this park again, since a previous cache I had to DNF had been reenabled. And I KNEW that this fella had been placed here a long while back (some would argue that it was at Xmas ). Hence, I figured "While I'm here... I'm SO going after this one." This one came first, since it was closer to the car.
So I got my fiancee to come geocaching with me again (Getting more common now... slowly but surely...), and she pretty much just walked up to the area, but wanted to avoid woodticks or whatnot falling on her (pfft, they're not THAT bad. I've only had 1 on me, and only seen 3 this year total so far). In either case... I quickly found the cache container... which was surprisingly large! Nice size for the half-dozen travelbugs that were inside . Unfortunately, I forgot to jot any id #'s down to discover the ones I left, but the "Explore North" TB REALLY caught my eye... so that fella's travelling with me .
But... thanks for the fun cache, and excuse to go out to the park again. This park hasn't seen the last of me yet though... there's several at Camp Amisk that I have yet to get!
Took: "Explore North" TB
