So, it seems like the Lizardoth were... successful(?), in a sense. Just a few more backstory comics until we return to our regularly scheduled storytime lol.
On the art front, we have finished the bag of beans as well as it's random draw story, so aside from carving the rest of the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar, I am done all random draw items! For now... let's see what the 2024 books give in September. Also I guess if some other obscure item is hiding in D&D's past that I somehow haven't stumbled across yet, but for now... carving aside. It has however been WAY too hot to do too much these days, so most of my spare time is laying down half-asleep in a pool of sweat more than anything. Reminder: drink your water people!
I did however finish my VERY FIRST MINI PAINTING!!! Oh my goodness, for having absolutely zero experience in painting minis or paint colour mixing, I am SO happy with how this came out! 3 Kobolds in a Trenchcoat, the mini that arrived shortly after Cranium Rats in Disguise... which brings us to... the mini page!!!! Aw yus, with the epic painting of that mini, I figured I had to make a page for my minis, I only have literally 4 of them, but there's a dice page, there had to be a mini page. So check it out, we have going back to my very first pewter mini from L5R to present, and my plans for paper standup minis for campaign. Vague plans to just have a stack of generic enemy minis to sub in, but well, read the mini page, it goes on about how having hand-drawn minis would get the players more engaged in the encounters :D
And other than that, well, painting that 3 kobolds in a trenchcoat took a solid day, I did do a bit more sewing on the merchant bag (no new pics tho), but mainly, my spare time is just spent sleeping the heat away right now. Hopefully will pick up more when it cools down a bit.
